Discover a destination where pristine rainforests, vibrant wildlife, and unspoiled beaches beckon to adventurous souls.
Often referred to as Africa’s Eden or the African Galapagos, the islands of Sao Tome and Principe offer an extraordinary journey to one of the world’s most biodiverse and remote archipelagos. Located just 260 km off the coast of Gabon, this two-island nation remains a well-kept secret, visited by only around 30,000 travelers each year.
Now, you have the chance to uncover its mysteries.
Explore lush rainforests and encounter exotic species found nowhere else on Earth.
Sao Tome and Principe boast more endemic species per square mile than the famous Galapagos Islands. Wander through verdant landscapes where over 25 unique bird species soar above, and over 25 types of butterflies flutter amidst the foliage.
Off the coast, dive into crystalline waters teeming with rare tropical fish and playful dolphins. This is an Eden-like haven, sculpted over 30 million years of splendid isolation.
How often can you say you’ve stood at the world’s coordinates: 00°N 00°E? You can do it in the stunning Rolas Island, where you can straddle the equator, standing with one foot in the northern and the other in the southern hemisphere.
This tiny, idyllic islet off the southern tip of Sao Tome, surrounded by turquoise waters, offers not just a geographical wonder but an opportunity to relax on some of the archipelago’s most breathtaking beaches.
Unearth the fascinating history of Sao Tome and Principe by exploring its once-grand colonial plantations, known as rocas. Wander through Roca Agua Ize, a beautifully restored plantation where you’ll experience echoes of the past alongside modern-day island life. Witness how time has gracefully melded with the tropical wilderness as vegetation begins to reclaim abandoned plantations, adding a mysterious charm to these sites.
From the beats of African drums to the captivating melodies of Portuguese-inspired music, Sao Tome and Principe’s unique cultural fusion is evident in every corner of the island.
Savour a cuisine that blends European and African flavors, and admire the vibrant artistic expressions that define this archipelago’s creative soul.
A visit here is not just a journey into nature but also a deep dive into a cultural tapestry unlike any other.
This exclusive travel package invites you to explore the hidden gems of Sao Tome and Príncipe, relax on pristine tropical beaches fringed by palm trees, and immerse yourself in the vivid greens of untouched rainforests.
